Run the whole floor from one screen.
Management software for salons, studios and tanning businesses — bookings, memberships, payments and the equipment in the rooms, in one system instead of four that don't talk to each other.
Where it stands
In production at CaptivaTan, running the floor day to day, and shipping steadily — six releases in the last month, through v1.0.75. It opens to beta testers soon. Running a real salon is why it gets fixed on the timescale of a working day rather than a release cycle.
What it does
| Front desk | Bookings, walk-ins and the schedule, on the screen the person at the counter is already looking at. |
| Memberships | Recurring plans, session packages and the awkward cases — freezes, upgrades mid-cycle, and what happens when a payment fails. |
| Payments and refunds | Taking money is the easy half. Refunds, partial refunds and the paper trail behind them are the half that has to be right. |
| The equipment | An in-store agent that talks to the hardware in the rooms, so a session starts from the booking rather than from someone walking over to a control panel. |
| Kiosk | A tablet check-in for the customers who would rather not queue at the desk. |
